Experience The Pyramids And Mystery Of The Brasilia Temple Of Legiao Da Boa Vontade.
The Brasilia Temple of Legiao da Boa Vontade is the center of spirituality in Brasilia. Every religion is well represented in the capital of Brasilia, and the Brasilia Temple of Legiao da Boa Vontade is an ecumenical temple. The Brasilia Temple of Legiao da Boa Vontade is the headquarters for a spiritual society in Brazil called LBV, or the Legion of Good Will.
On the temple grounds, you will find unusual structures and a huge white pyramid shaped temple. It is a large, white pyramid with seven sides. The outside of the temple itself is a great sight to see, especially at night when it is all lit up, but inside is where things really get interesting.
Inside The Temple
Once you go inside, you'll see the granite spirals on the floors. Whether these have spiritual significance or not, they make for a unique and interesting decoration. In the center of the temple, at the very top of the ceiling where the pyramid points to the sky, you'll find the biggest crystal ever found in Brazil. It is 40 centimeters tall and weighs 21 kilograms. Above that, at the very top, is a famous mandala that many people come to the Brasilia Temple of Legiao da Boa Vontade to see.
The temple also has an Egypt Room, as well as an art gallery and gift shop full of unique things to take home.
What IS The Place??
What exactly is the significance of the Brasilia Temple of Legiao da Boa Vontade? Visitors to the temple say that they feel their energy being rejuvenated as they walk toward the magnificent crystal. Does this building have spiritual healing powers?
There is a theory, put forth by Egyptologist Yara Kern, that Brasilia founder Juscelino Kubitschek is the reincarnation of pharaoh Aknaten, who ruled Egypt 3,500 years ago. According to Kern, Aknaten was the first to dream of Brasilia, not Dom Bosco. He supposedly planned a city like Brasilia, but it was never carried out until modern times. This theory may be a little hard to swallow, but Kern points to many coincidences and synchronicities between the reign of Aknaten and presidency of Kubitschek.
New age people believe that pyramid shaped buildings naturally focus, concentrate and release positive energy from our bodies to the world. It is said that the best way to experience the temple is to walk slowly toward the crystal barefoot, meditating as you go, and then slowly making your way back out, stopping now and then to meditate.
Aside from helping visitors refocus their bodies' energies, the Legion of Good Will also does charity work for the community.
