The stadiums are the Estadio Mane Garrincha, located in Brasilia, and Elmo Serejo Farias Stadium, located in Taguatinga, one of Brasilia's satellite cities. Both are large stadiums, with a capacity of over 35,000 people. The games have a party-like atmosphere, serving barbecued Brazilian delicacies and beer. You can watch either of Brasilia's two major football teams, Brasiliense Futebol Clube (from Taguatinga) and Sociedade Esportiva do Gama (from Brasilia).

If you don't feel like watching a game, why not join in? Brasilia doesn't have the beaches of Rio or Sao Paulo, but there are start-up games all over town, especially on weekends. Head for the City Park and you'll always see somebody kicking a ball around somewhere, and visitors are always welcome to join. Be warned though; Brazilians are the best players in the world!

The best place to play golf in Brasilia is the Clube de Golfe de Brasilia, located in the Setor de Clubes Esportivos Sul, right next to Lake Paranoa. This is a recognized golf course by the Golf Federation of Brasilia. It is a pretty golf course, with a view of Brasilia's famous sights such as the Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge in the background.
