Check Out The City From The Air With Brasilia Helicopter Sightseeing
Brasilia is a fantastic city and what better way to see it than with Brasilia helicopter sightseeing? Brasilia helicopter sightseeing takes you up into the air, nearly 500 feet above the city, to get a unique view of this remarkable city.
With Brasilia helicopter sightseeing, you get to see all the major sights that you've been checking out on the ground. Brasilia is famous for its good planning and modern architecture, and you can see it all as a bird would with Brasilia helicopter sightseeing.
The helicopter takes off from a heli-pad close to the city's famous attraction Television Tower. It takes you 140 meters in to the air over the city's Monumental Axle (almost 500 feet). The helicopter can take up to 3 passengers at one time, and the aerial tour of the city lasts for 10 minutes.
You will see the Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge that stretches across the river; the stately twin towers of the Brazilian National Congress where all the country's major decisions are made; you'll get a view from the air of the massive Television Tower shooting up into the sky. From the air you can see all of Brasilia's unique palaces, museums and parks.
Brasilia is one of the few completely planned cities on earth, and many feel that it is the best. In no time throughout history has a city been laid out, built and completed in just five short years. The city is a work of art itself, with its symmetrical streets and thoroughfares. Brasilia helicopter sightseeing takes you up into the air where you can see the city the way the planners imagined it.
Brasilia helicopter sightseeing tours run over the city every day from Tuesday through Sunday, from 9 in the morning to 7 at night. The best time to take the helicopter tour is right at dusk. If you go up right as the sun is setting, be sure to take your camera. You'll see the setting sun gleaming off the futuristic buildings. But, keep in mind that this is a busy time. You'll want to call early to book your reservation.
The company that runs Brasilia helicopter sightseeing is called Esat Taxi Aereo. You can call them at (61) 323-8777 or check them out on the web at www.esataerotaxi.com.br. The website is all in Portuguese, but if you click on the link that says "contato," you will be able to send them an e-mail from there. They charge 75-95 Brazilian Reals per trip, depending on the day and time. That's about $30-40 US, and it's well worth the cost to see Brasilia from the air.
